Biography

Pata Paris lives and works in Bad Nauheim, Germany. For more than twenty years, she has dedicated herself to contemporary painting. Her artistic practice moves between figurative drawing, symbolic abstraction, and a poetic visual language.

Alongside large-scale paintings, she creates graphic works that focus on line, form, and materiality. Her current body of work has expanded to include sculpture, exploring themes of peace, community, and human connection.

While studying architecture, Pata Paris became actively involved with the gallery of the Deutscher Werkbund Hessen in Frankfurt, where she gained early experience in exhibition practice. Before establishing herself as a full-time artist, she worked as a graduate engineer and architect, designing buildings and publishing professional books. Her ongoing exploration of space, structure, and construction continues to inform her artistic practice.

Music also plays an essential role in her work. As a drummer, she translates rhythm, movement, and energy into her visual language. The convergence of architecture, music, and the visual arts has led to a distinctive artistic practice centered on the free exploration of color, form, material, and space.
